4 Day Induction

· Introduction to care including the different roles and responsibilities. 

· Duty of care.

· Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).

· Handling information, record keeping and confidentiality. 

· Moving and assisting of people– theory.

· Health and safety/ fire /infection control.

· Food safety/fluids and nutrition.

· Safe handling of medications.

· Personal care and grooming.

· Basic life support/ Emergency first aid
